Course Content
This course combines VR and AR technologies to provide students with an immersive experience of Chinese history and culture through the Cospaces platform for creative and interactive learning. Students will first explore historical sites in China from a VR 360-degree perspective, experiencing important landmarks from ancient and modern times while gathering inspiration. They will then learn to create their own VR and AR projects in Cospaces, including scene construction, object placement, animation design, and interactive programming to create personalized historical stories or exhibitions. Using block programming, students can add dynamic effects to make historical events or buildings more vivid, and project their work into the real world using Merge Cube’s AR mode to share their creations with others. The course aims to develop students’ digital creation skills, spatial design thinking, and programming logic, reinterpreting history through technology to enhance learning interest and expression abilities.
